This Little Beaver post hole auger is lightweight, powerful, and reliable. For years, it's been the #1 choice for contractors and homeowners alike. Working solo? The torque free digging technology eliminates kickback and allows for one man operation. Padded handles are ergonomically designed for comfortable operation. The heavy-duty roll cage provides enhanced protection to the engine. Need to use more than one auger? The snap button allows easy connection and removal of augers and extensions. No pins or tools required. Little Beaver earth drills are also very fast! Operating at 360 RPM, they rotate much faster than other units on the market. Not only does this increase your drilling productivity, but it also results in cleaner holes.
The post hole auger was made for easy transport. It is very easy to maneuver. The compact design allows you to access areas that larger skid-steer mounted augers can't reach. Need to go through your yard to get to your worksite? No worries! The easy rolling wheel carriage won't leave marks on turf.
This auger is perfect for smaller projects. Looking to dig some post holes quickly? Take a soil sample? Put up a few signs? Bore a hole under your sidewalk? Look no further!
Are you working on a large-scale project? Does your job require more than 15 holes? Have tough soil conditions? Do you require a bit larger than 10"? If so, we would strongly recommend one of the following: Stand-on Vermeer Mini Skid Steer, Bobcat wheeled loader or the Bobcat track loader.

Damage Policy & Protection
What's Covered
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Manufacturing defects (we replace at no cost)
- Tire wear from normal use, battery drain
- Minor cosmetic damage that doesn't affect operation
Standard Damage Terms
Deductible: $250 on accidental damage
What counts:
Accidental bumps, minor dings, normal operational damage
What doesn't:
Intentional damage, theft, missing parts, damage from misuse
Important:
If damage occurs, call us immediately. Most damage is repairable and we just need to know what happened.
Optional Damage Waiver
Cost: $35–60/day (typically 10–15% of rental rate)
Coverage:
Zero deductible on accidental damage
What's covered:
Virtually all accidental damage during your rental period
What's NOT covered:
Intentional damage, theft, missing parts
Recommended if:
You are working in tight spaces with obstacles or operating aerial lift equipment for the first time.
If Equipment Fails During Rental
What happens:
Call us immediately. All equipment is professionally maintained and tested before each rental.
If it's our fault:
We replace the equipment at no charge.
If it's user error:
We work with you to fix it or replace it quickly.
Reminder:
Equipment failure happens. Call us first and we will get you back to work quickly.
Important Policy Notes
Deposit Hold
We place a hold on your card for the deposit amount. This is not a charge. It is released within 24 hours of equipment return in good condition.
Late Returns
If you need more time, call us before your return time. Additional rental days may apply.
Photo Documentation
We photograph equipment before and after every rental. This protects both you and us from disputes about pre-existing damage.
